What Areas Can Be Treated

Coolsculpting is able to safely treat neck fat (double chin), upper arm fat, chest fat (man boobs), all belly fat, shoulder fat (bra fat), lower back fat, lower buttock fat (banana roll), thigh fat and knee fat.

Where Does The Fat Go

The manner in which CoolSculpting works specifically targets fat cells via calibrated temperatures. Contact with the cold temperature causes the fat cells to crystallize. Over a period of two months, these crystallized cells die, which stimulates the immune system to send enzymes out that break down the dying fat cells so they can be easily and safely eliminated by the body.

An interesting element of CoolSculpting is that once the targeted fat cells are destroyed, they don't return. If you gain weight down the road, the excess pounds will not be deposited in the treated areas � they'll simply show up someplace else.

When Will I See Results

You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after one to three months. Your body is still flushing fat cells and will continue doing so for up to four to six months after treatment. How Many Treatments Will I Need

How Long Are The Treatment Sessions

What Are The Side Effects

You will be a little tender in the treated area for a day or two following your treatment. You may also have superficial bruising for a short time in certain areas, usually on the flanks and under the chin if those areas are treated.

Are There Any Risks

The most serious known, and extremely rare risk, is that of soft fatty tissue becoming hard and lumpy. Most known instances of this have been attributed to overzealous or inexperienced clinicians performing the treatment, or from using counterfeit Coolsculpting machines.
